ABOUT
Kadra Dreizehnter dedicates herself passionately and successfully to the harpsichord, ensemble playing and the study of historical performance practice.
Since 2019 she has studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt (HfMDK) in the harpsichord class of Prof. Eva Maria Pollerus. Last summer, she completed her Bachelor’s degree with distinction and began her Master’s studies. She has received many new insights through master classes with Prof. Jörg Andreas Bötticher, Thorsten Johann, Anna Fontana, Alfredo Bernardini and Leila Schayegh, among others, in early music hubs like Urbino Musica Antica or Ensemble Akademie Freiburg.
She began her harpsichord training with Mikail Zhuraviev and Wolfgang Kostujak, then continued at the Folkwang Universität der Künste, where she completed a pre-college program with Prof. Christian Rieger.
In the summer of 2022, she reached the semifinals in the harpsichord category at the Deutscher Musik Wettbewerb and served as a continuo accompanist at the International Telemann Competition.
Her concert activities with renowned ensembles and musicians such as the Freiburger Barockorchester, Les Essences, and the Main Barockorchester have taken her across Germany and to other European countries in recent years.
Most recently, she has performed at the Alte Oper Frankfurt, in Istanbul, Ankara, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, in Freiburg, at the Praetorius Festival, and the Eichstätt Music Festival. She has been featured on radio programs, including SWR and BR Klassik. She is a frequent guest at the chamber music series “Barock im Lichterschein” as well as at the Lehmbruck Museum concerts of the Duisburger Philharmoniker. She has gained experience in continuo playing in opera, including at the Staatstheater Gießen, where she performed in Handel’s opera Xerxes during the 2023/24 season.
Additionally, Kadra Dreizehnter performs chamber music and solo recitals with a repertoire ranging from early Baroque to contemporary harpsichord music. She is also a founding member of the Orchestra BaroqueLAB Frankfurt, an self governing Ensemble which focuses on carefully researched performance practices presented in modern and multi-disciplinary events.

Kadra Dreizehnter is a founding member of the orchestra BaroqueLAB Frankfurt. This ensemble brings together the creative potential of young musicians who share a passion for historically informed performance practice and have their musical roots in Frankfurt am Main.
